  1.                 Setting your modem to AutoAnswer

  4.      For most applications (PC etc) the modem requires &C1&D2 set, and  for
  5. AA  'S0=1'. Type AT&F&C1&D2S0=1&W  (&F restores to factory defaults, &W  is
  6. optional, saves to NV ram so it powers up in AA).  Macs (and some terminal-
  7. type  computers)  require &D0 (default), so do not put &D2 in  the  string.
  8. Some may even require &C0 (tho' I cannot say what may).

  10.      For some devices or applications you will need to connect the modem to
  11. a computer/terminal to set & save the commands. You commonly need  Terminal
  12. software (modem software) to 'talk' to the modem.
